City Councillors have two budgets they can use to support local communities
Each city councillor has an annual ward budget of £1,500 to spend in their ward on projects that provide economic, social and environmental benefit to the local community.
Funded projects and events may be run by:
- Local community and voluntary groups
- Charities
- Schools
- Other community interest organisations
Councillors also have a CIL (Community Infrastructure Levey) budget of £2,500 to spend on local projects.
Below are the projects David has spent both his ward member budget and CIL budget over the past three years.
